This is the second Low Emissions Technology Statement released by the Australian
Government. Annual statements are released under the Technology Investment Roadmap. The roadmap is the cornerstone of Australia’s Long-Term Emissions Reduction Plan to meet net zero emissions by 2050. It is an enduring process to accelerate the development and commercialisation of new and emerging low emissions technologies to reach cost parity with existing high emissions technologies.
