The Australian Government’s Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water released two new videos on world Refrigeration Day (26 June), to advise consumers about the impact of HFC refrigerants on the environment and promote the use of licensed technicians.
The department says many Australians are unaware that most aircon and refrigeration systems contain HFC refrigerants which contribute to global warming when released.
