Discussion paper released for consumer goods stewardship

The Federal Government has just released a discussion paper( Stewardship for Consumer and Other Electrical and Electronic Products Discussion Paper https://haveyoursay.awe.gov.au/e-stewardship that includes split system air conditioners. It proposes potentially expanding the ozone legislation to cover equipment at end-of-life. It contains interesting ideas. Feedback deadline is 25 February 2022.
