Tests prove maintenance reduces energy and faults

Tests commissioned by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water on refrigerated display cabinets and walk-in cool rooms are a valuable guide to the impact of common faults on equipment operating costs, as well as environmental impacts.

The positive outcome is that in many cases, simple maintenance such as frequent
coil cleaning can significantly reduce the system load and energy consumption.

These and many other useful bench testing results can be found here.
