The call has gone out for speakers for the 2023 future:gas seminar roadshow, a series of industry-supported refrigerant education events aimed at those working in the air-conditioning sector.
Topics to be covered include:
- Changes in refrigerant technology and associated issues (refrigerant classifications, dangerous goods, safety, HFOs and naturals).
- Equipment trends – what are we seeing now and how will it change? What are the biggest challenges ahead. What do contractors need to expect? Energy efficiency in stationary air conditioning should be covered.
- Regulatory and recovery issues – what are the requirements on industry today? What are we doing now and how might that change in the future? What are refrigerant recovery requirements and how do we work to improve industry’s performance overall under likely new government requirements.
A few things to note:
- You do not need to be a speaker for all of the events (see schedule below), but obviously we want to avoid too many different speakers on any one topic.
- The presentations are non-commercial and will be the same for all of the speakers on that topic. The presentations will be agreed by all of the speakers.
- The presentations are about 30 to 35 minutes each and the events are held in the evening.
- The format is after introductory refreshments, there are two speakers, a short intermission and then a final speaker.
- FutureGas will cover flight and accommodation costs.
