Synthesis report on understanding fluoropolymers and their life cycle.
Published in December 2025 and prepared by the OECD on issues around PFAS used in fluoropolymers. This matters as these substances are in much of the componentry of RAC equipment.
The report is an update on current understandings and a recognition that there remains far more questions than data to resolve the various questions. The report includes a description of the areas needing to be addressed and a suggestion about some of the work that needs to be undertaken to better understand the relevant issues.
